Options: Back

Below are our departure times. Check-in is 1/2 hour prior to departure time for day trips. Check-in for overnight trips, best if checked in one hour prior to departure, you need the time to check-in and load your camping gear. Groups paying by canoe or one lump sum have priority at check-in (it goes faster).  Reservations are needed on all overnight trips and on the weekends. Reservations will be required on all trips on all Saturdays and Sundays (October thru May). Canoe Outpost-Peace River is open 7 days a week, year 'round. All departure times are tentative according to the river conditions, check the Water & Weather link to confirm.

Oak Hill (5 mile/half day): 11:30 & 12:30 every day with an additional 1:30 on weekends. You have till closing time (5:00 p.m.) to be in. Later or earlier trips available for groups.

Brownville (8 mile/half day): Day departures are 8:00 & 10:00. Overnight departures are 8:00, 10:00, 11:30 & 2:00. You have until 5:00 p.m. to be back.  NO 11:30 Brownville Day Run at this time, water too low, trip too long.

Gardner (12 mile/full day):  NO Gardner DAY runs at this time water too low, trip to long. Overnight is still open. Overnight departures are 8:00, 10:00, 11:30 & 2:00. You have until 5:00 p.m. to be back the next day.

Gardner to Gardner (paddle upstream into the wilderness section): Overnight departures are 8:00, 10:00, 11:30 & 2:00. Come to Arcadia first! Need to be back by 2:00 or 4:00 the ending day of your trip.

Zolfo Springs (19.5 overnight):  8:00 & 11:30 daily. Come to Arcadia first! Need to be back by 2:00 or 4:00 the ending day of your trip. See more info under Overnight Runs Note: there several trees across the river in the beginning. Water is shallowest in the beginning. Experienced paddlers only!  A favorite option at this water level is the Gardner to Gardner (#3 overnight run). With such a slow current, it's no problem paddling upstream into the wilderness section and finding a campsite. No kayaks for any run, water too low.

No reservations needed weekdays unless going on an overnight run or you have a large group or you need kayaks. Saturdays are busiest, bus seats will fill. Call 800-268-0083 for reservations. For questions and group info email peacepaddler@canoeoutpost.com. In Arcadia, office hours are 8:00 to 4:00 daily. You still have until 5:00 to be in at the dock in Arcadia.  People ask why we have a return time? Because we have families and have been at work since 7:30am, sometimes even earlier and want to go home. Return time at Gardner is either 2:00 or 4:00 p.m. which will be determined at the time of check-in. Gates will be open at those times.

Note: If you don't have a reservation and want to avoid disappointment upon arrival please note the following departure times are full because all seats on the buses are full at that particular time slot as listed below  with customers who have reservations. The below departure times are tentatively full until confirmation is received from the groups with reservations. Other departure times are still available, check with the office at 800-268-0083. All runs are a.m. unless noted otherwise. Can you guess where the most popular State Paddle Trail is in Florida!

The following departures (time slots) are full at this time. There are other time slots available. We have designated departure times. The bus leaves at those times. We are not booked out at this time. The seats on the bus at that particular time slot listed below are full. Not the whole day, just that particular bus departure time. All dates are Saturdays unless noted.
