Below are our departure times. Check-in is 1/2 hour prior to departure time for day trips. Check-in for overnight trips, best if checked in one hour prior to departure and 1/2 hour minimum prior to departure. Reservations are needed on all overnight trips and on the weekends. Reservations will be required on all trips on all Saturdays and Sundays (October thru May). Canoe Outpost-Peace River is open 7 days a week, year 'round. All departure times are tentative according to the river conditions, check the Water & Weather link to confirm.
Oak Hill (5 mile/Half day):11:30 and 12:30 every day with an additional 1:30 on Saturdays and Sundays. You have till closing time (5:00 weekdays, 6:00 weekends) to be in. Later or earlier trips available for groups.
Brownville (8 mile/half day): Day departures are 8:00 and 10:00. Overnight departures are 8:00, 10:00, 11:30 & 2:00.
Gardner (12 mile/full day): Not available for the day. Overnight departures are 8:00, 10:00, 11:30 & 2:00.
Gardner to Gardner (paddle upstream into the wilderness section): Overnight departures are 8:00, 10:00, 11:30 & 2:00. Come to Arcadia first!
Zolfo Springs (19.5 overnight):Not available at this time.Overnight departures are 8:00, 11:30 & 2:00. Call for current times. Reservation required. This is the wilderness stretch of the river. If you want wilderness, primitive camping try the Gardner to Gardner Run. You paddle up into this stretch and then paddle down. See more info under Overnight Runs
If you want to camp and you're worried about how much gear you have, do the Gardner or Brownville Runs and camp at Oak Hill and have your camping gear delivered! That way you can just float and relax coming down the river. You can bring all the stuff you want and don't have to worry.
No reservations needed weekdays unless going on an overnight run or you have a large group or you need kayaks. Saturdays are busiest, bus seats will fill. Call 800-268-0083 for reservations. For questions and group info email peacepaddler@canoeoutpost.com. In Arcadia, office hours are 8:00 to 4:00 daily. You still have until 5:00 to be in at the dock on weekdays and 6:00 on weekends. People ask why we have a return time? Because we have families and have been at work since 7:30am, sometimes even earlier and want to go home. Return time at Gardner is either 2:00 or 4:00 p.m. which will be determined at the time of check-in. Gates will be open at those times.
Note: If you don't have a reservation and want to avoid disappointment upon arrival please note the following departure times are full because all seats on the buses are full at that particular time slot as listed below with customers who have reservations. The below departure times are tentatively full until confirmation is received from the groups with reservations. Other departure times are still available, check with the office at 800-268-0083. The following departures (time slots) are full at this time. There are other time slots available. We have designated departure times. The bus leaves at those times. We are not booked out at this time. The seats on the bus at that particular time slot are full. Not the whole day, just that particular bus departure time. All dates are Saturdays unless noted.
