Get ready for some BIG PADDLING FUN with our Peace River Paddling Map. The Peace River starts from humble beginnings near Bartow in Polk County and runs through Hardee and DeSoto counties, right past our door at the Canoe Outpost-Peace River and eventually to the Gulf of Mexico, some 106 miles from the source. Most of our trips go from Zolfo Springs (overnight) or Gardner (day) to our dock near Arcadia but we'll take you as far north as Fort Meade if you want to spend several days on the water.
